Fire breaks out in derelict home

Fire and Police are in attendance at a fire of a derelict home on Brechin’s Castle Street.

Fire appliances from Brechin and Montrose attended the scene of the fire.

This is the second time in three years that the house has been on fire - the first time was at the end of January 2010 when three people had a fortunate escape from their burning home.

Since that fire the house has remained empty.
