Prizes inappropriate
Sir, With present concerns about teenage drinking in the city I was horrified to see my 13 year old son returning from Pageant with two bottles of Stella Artois he won on a bottle stall.
I could not believe they would allow a teenager to walk away with two bottles of alcohol. Not only him but his friend also who won two bottles of wine.
I would have thought the organisers of the stall would have taken his details and asked an adult to collect the prizes, I find it really irresponsible and I'm only glad my son is level-headed enough to bring them home and hand them over to his parents.
I am writing this letter to make the organisers aware of their mistake and hope this will not happen again.
