Thanks to all those who helped raise £2700
Sir, I am writing to thank everyone who supported me in my latest marathon attempt in New York, from these who sponsored me with great generosity to these who kept me gong with kind words and encouragement.
As with all my previous marathons I was running in aid of the Guide Dogs Association and with the help of family , friends and companies both local and National I have raised in excess of 2700.
Sadly my time for the marathon was not one of my better ones but I will be doubling my efforts for next year when I will be once again heading south to London in April to run in the London Marathon.
A special thanks to all at the Caledonian hotel for hosting a quiz night and keeping a donation tin behind the bar. Thanks to all.
