Sir, Is the Brechin community prepared to take possession of their artwork? There is no doubt that the community possesses ownership of 'The David Waterson Memorial Collection', as shown at the special community council meeting on May 15.

The three Angus Councillors present (Brechin & Edzell Ward); Cllrs Ruth Leslie melville, Bob Myles, Mairi Evans, have accepted this by preparing and setting up a 'Steering Group' to further the campaign on behalf of the community. As stated at the meeting of the community council on May 28, 2007.
