Days Gone By - February 24, 1925

THIS week's look at days gone by takes us back to the roaring 20s - February 24, 1925 to be precise.

Among the items making the headlines in the Brechin Advertiser that week were news of a blushing-local bride's wedding in New York, word to the opening of the fishing season on the Esks.

Also making the pages of the Brechiner was news of a trip to Forfar for the town councillors hoping to buy a new motorised engine and the announcement of a children's evening in the Mechanics' Institute.

The snippets can all be viewed at the foot of this article.
