Closure of Brechin to Arbroath road
ANGUS Council will be carrying out essential maintenance and resurfacing on the A933 Arbroath to Brechin road at its junctions with B965 Friockheim and A932 Forfar in a few weeks’ time.
The road will be closed while the work is underway, from 7am on Saturday, September 15 to 5pm on Sunday, September 16 and from 7am on Saturday, September 22 until 5pm on Sunday, September 23.
During this period the access road into Friockheim will be closed and also the junction of the A932 Forfar Road. Access to Friockheim will be via the B965 from the East end of the village only.
Traffic travelling between Arbroath and Brechin will be diverted via Colliston – Letham Grange – Chapleton - B965 – Inverkeilor A92 – Rossie A934 – Kinnell Crossroads.
Diversion signs will be in place.
