DUNDEE Rep's new season kicks off this month with Grammy award-winning guitarist Martin Taylor and the UK's fasting rising jazz singer and Dundonian, Alison Burns (Saturday, August 23).
Alison has built up an international following which has seen her perform concerts everywhere from Shanghai to London's prestigious Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.

Alison has enjoyed international success and has collaborated with Martin Taylor on a new album and UK tour.

This season also sees the welcome return of regular Jazz nights in the Rep's restaurant.

Just back from the Reinhardt Jazz Festival in France, Dundee's own Havana Swing brings their own remarkable sound of Jazz to the late night spot on Thursday, September 25.

Relax with Seller Bros (September 25) and guitarist Kevin Murray (November 20) in the long anticipated return of Jazz at the theatre this season.

Isle of Skye's Peatbog Faeries create their unique brand of Celtic dance music at the Rep (October 7) from traditional jigs and reels through to jazz and reggae they play a diverse and contemporary sound.

Bagpipes, fiddles and a three piece brass section are just a few of the wide range of instruments that bring a bold and energetic sound to the Rep.

For one night only Karen Matheson widely recognised as the lead singer of Celtic group Cappercallie performs (October 10) as part of her solo tour.

Inspired by traditional gaelic songs, her haunting voice has mesmerized audience world wide.
