It is hoped that there will be a good turnout of young people and grown-ups in the Cathedral Hall next Friday when a series of colour films is being put on by the Dundee Committee of Fact and Faith Films. These films are of exceptional interest and will appeal to all ages. “Miracle at Munich” made at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, is having its first showing in Scotland.
A “morning market” in the city Hall on Saturday raised £175 for the funds for St. Andrew’s Church. The scene in the main hall was reminiscent of an old-time market with a covered-over main stall laden with all kinds of produce, vegetables etc., backed by flowers, and small stalls set around on which were displayed an attractive variety of “market” wares.
