Slight cracks found in the concrete round two of the supporting beams in the ceiling at the back of the High School assembly hall during a routine structural check are purely superficial, the Rector is assured by the county architect and there is no risk at all in leaving their repair until the school is closed.

The city club has approved expansion plans to cost an estimated £15,000.
Less than three years old the club has 1,200 members and after making a donation of £3,000 to Brechin City’s funds is still left with a solid reserve fund.
It is planned to bring the first floor of the club’s premises in Southesk Street in to full use.
