Have your say

Hockey: Brechin, 1; Ruthrieston Ramblers, 4.
Brechin played three new players in this friendly and with luck might have had a draw at least. All the goals came in the first half and for the second week in succession Christison scored from a corner. Birkett was the star in defence.

Football: Roselea, 1; Matrix, 4.
Matrix were the better all round side and Crabb gave them an early lead. R. Carnegie made it two and before the interval the same player added to Brechin’s account.
Matrix eased off in the second half and the game became a dull affair. B. Carnegie netted a fourth for Matrix before Binnie got a consolation goal for ‘Lea. Matrix ‘keeper, Gerrie, made a brilliant save off a penalty awarded to the homesters.
