Have your say

ON WEDNESDAY, March 20, Maisondieu School Choir braved the wintry conditions to give a concert at the Damacre Centre. Under the baton of Mrs R. Chalmers, Deputy Headteacher, with her brother Michael Gillies on Keyboard, the children gave a wonderfully varied programme which had the ladies tapping their toes at times.

A lovely rendition of ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot’ brought calls for an encore and the children duly obliged. Refreshments were provided and during the break the children mingled with the audience, among whom there were quite a few grandmother (very proud ladies indeed).

President Jessie Rennie gave the vote of thanks.
