Brechin Probus Club met in the Northern Hotel on Tuesday, October 29, when a large audience of both members and visitors attended.
Bob Berry was in the chair and after dealing with club business he introduced Flight Lieutenant Ali Morton, Warrant Officer Andy Rodulson and senior Aircraftsman David Morris of the Presentation team of the Royal Air Force, who initially gave a resume of their careers to date, and the extent of their involvement with the Presentation Team.
Each speaker contributed to an enthralling screen presentation outlining the role and responsibilities on the wide variety of operations undertaking by the RAF, at the behest of the government and the tax payer. The different types of aircraft in service were shown in the presentation and included planes like Typhoons and Chinook helicopters, which have from time to time been involved in strategic air lifts and mountain rescues. At the conclusion there were many questions from the club membership and visitors on a wide variety of topics.
Vote of thanks was given by Brian Titmuss, who said that the team had succeeded in imparting a greater appreciation of RAF activities.
