A NUMBER of young seniors visited the Angus Gold Forum on Thursday.
As usual there were plenty of topics on the agenda to consider, such as Strathtay Bus Service. The promised representative did not attend but those present did have their say and the matter will be discussed with the company when the Forum next meets.
Another item discussed was feedback from the Brechin Partnership meeting and its work in the community.
Also in the minds of those attending was the embarrassing situation of Brechin being unable to muster a community council.
A general discussion ensued regarding some of the projects that the Forum undertakes, namely the Discovery Award and the Forum newsletter.
Jessie Rennie, Chris Stanton, Francis Smith and Helen Wallace from the Forum Suffragettes United are to meet with colleagues from Carnoustie in a commemorative celebration next month.
The work of the Gold Forum is progressing quite steadily.
If you’re fifty-plus pop along to the Damacre Centre on the last Thursday of the month.
Participation could mean that your interests and your problems can be raised and dealt with and will be guaranteed to find the ear of Angus Council.
