A former Tannadice scout is set to go from one reunion to another when he meets up with former members of his scout group on November 2.
John Miller recently visited Gilwell were he attended a 57 year reunion of the scout’s 1957 jamboree. There was over 70 former scouts at the event, and John added: “A lot of them are involved in helping the scouts as leaders.”
Former members of the Tannadice and Menmuir scout groups hold a yearly reunion at Tannadice on the first Sunday of November - which this year falls on November 2.
Last year was a special occasion which saw 95 former Scouts attend a reunion dinner at Finavon Hotel to mark their 100th year.
Former members of both scout groups receive a yearly update, called the Tannadice and Menmuir Trials’.
The publication provides an update on what former scout members are now up to, along with nostalgic stories and pictures.
