AL GRANT HEADS TO MONIKIE
AL Grant, husband of well-known Isla Grant, will pair up with Glen Flynn this Friday evening for a concert in Monikie Hall at 8 pm.
Al is probably best known for singing Jim Reeves, Elvis, Johnny Cash and Irish country songs.
Glen is well known to all Shawn Cuddy fans as he was in Shawn's band for 12 years. He then moved to well known Irish country singer Mick Flavin's band where he played for five years before moving to Isla Grant's band; he has been with Isla for the last seven years.
Glen is now an established singer and songwriter and a multi instrumentalist.
Al and Glen Flynn have both performed all over the globe and this is their first tour as a duo.
They have only three nights in Scotland - one at Monikie Hall.
There will also be a great collection of well known Irish country music and songs as well plus a little bit of humour; Isla Grant will also be there.
