DUNDEE REP PLAY CHALLENGES BIGOTRY
DES Dillon's entertaining comedy - "Singin' I'm No a Billy He's a Tim" runs at Dundee Rep Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 2 and 3 at 7.30 pm nightly.
This is a humorous and often poignant snapshot of the pervasive sectarian divide which still exists in the west of Scotland.
What could be worse for a Celtic fan than being locked up in a police cell on the day of an Old Firm match?
For Tim, there is one thing worse – finding himself banged up with Billy, a fervent Rangers supporter.
"Singin' I'm No a Billy He's a Tim" highlights the nature of bigotry and sectarianism within the West of Scotland.
The play also takes our two protagonists on a journey of self discovery.
This play contains strong language and is recommended for people aged 16+.
Tickets priced 14 (concessions 10 - 12) are available from Dundee Rep Theatre on 01382 223530 or www.dundeereptheatre.co.uk
