Exhibition of Angus glens art

PATIENTS, staff and visitors at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre in Forfar will be able to enjoy a new joint exhibition celebrating the beauty of the Angus glens.

A selection of 17 limited edition prints of landscape scenes by Angus artists Jonathan A.S. Mitchell and the late William Cadenhead will be sharing the gallery space for the next few weeks.

The Whitehills display captures atmospheric views of Glen Clova, Glen Prosen and Glenogil, bringing the Angus glens into the heart of the centre.

The gallery space provides an opportunity for artists and craft workers to display their work and has, over the years, enjoyed enthusiastic support from many local artists.

Exhibitions at the centre are changed every eight weeks and artists donate 20 per cent commission on all sales to the Whitehills Arts and Environment Fund. All money raised is used to enhance Whitehills environment for patients, staff and visitors.
