Illustrated talks

THE Friends of Brechin Town House Museum have announced the dates of their spring illustrated talks programme.

All talks take place in the upstairs gallery at the Town House Museum and start at 2pm.

Entrance is free and refreshments are also provided.

They are as follows:-

February 22 - Images & Memories of bygone Brechin with Brian Mitchell; March 21 - Brechin Town Heritage Initiative with Sarah Kettles; April 25 - Murders in 19th Century Angus with Forbes Inglis; May 16 - Aircraft Crashes in the Local Area with Steve Nicoll.

The Friends are always interested in hearing from any Brechiners with photos or documents that can be scanned and added to their archives.

School, work, sport or church gatherings all help to record the past and illustrate what life was like.

If you have any please contact the museum on 01356 625536 or brechin.museum@angus.gov.uk to arrange their loan and scanning, all items are returned as soon as possible.
