National libraries day

Celebrate this year’s National Libraries Day on Saturday, February 4 with an exciting programme of events in all Angus libraries.

You can join in the celebrations this year in Angus by coming along to one of the special Bookbug sessions for dads and granddads at Brechin Library from 11 am to 11.30 am.

These free Saturday sessions for babies and toddlers are a great opportunity for the men of the family to get involved with songs, stories and rhymes in a fun and relaxed environment.

Although staff are especially looking forward to seeing lots of men, everyone who loves libraries is welcome, mums and aunties and grannies too.

To see the full schedule of times go online to www.angusahead.com

Also on National Libraries Day, staff will be bringing the brand new rural services vehicles to Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose for a special opportunity to see inside.

Staff will be available to talk through the services offered as well as provide timetables, registration forms and burgh library promotional material. These one-off stops and times are also online at www.angusahead.com under National Libraries Day.
