APPEARING at the Webster Memorial Theatre for the first time this Saturday, the most successful and popular touring show of its kind ‘Beyond the Barricade’ brings its brand new 2013 production to Arbroath.

Recreating original West End/Broadway musical hit songs with amazing authenticity, ‘Beyond the Barricade’ features a cast of past principal performers from the West End production of Les Miserables, and the 25th Anniversary Concert at the 02 Arena.

This production will include songs from Miss Saigon, The Lion King, Phantom Of The Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess, Blood Brothers, The Jersey Boys and many more hit musical productions, climaxing with a spectacular finale from, of course, Les Miserables!

Don’t miss the musical event of the year!

Beyond the Barricade began life in 1996, following a request to perform a musical theatre charity concert.

The original show was organised and developed by Andy Reiss and David Fawcett, who met when performing in the Manchester production of Les Miserables. Gemma Sandy and Alison Williams joined Andy and David for the first few concerts, and very soon the show began to take on a life of its own. The decision was made to cast only from ex-Les Miserables cast members so that the public were under no illusion as to the quality of the performers.

Les Miserables star Rebecca Thornhill came onboard and the audience response to the production soon made it clear that Beyond The Barricade would be around for some time. Ticket details from the box office on 01241 435 800.
