STAGE SET FOR STONEHAVEN FOLK FESTIVAL
THE stage is set for the 22nd Stonehaven Folk Festival which starts on July 8.
The four-day programme of music, song, dance and storytelling promises something for everyone.
Among the entertainers will be Show of Hands, winners of the BBC Radio 2 Best Duo award, on Saturday, July 10 in the Town Hall.
The McCalmans will play for the last time in Stonehaven on Sunday, July 11 and the festival will also welcome Celtic rock band Shooglenifty from Edinburgh for a standing only concert.
There will also be a number of fringe events and workshops on offer throughout, as well as sessions taking place around the town.
The festival office in the Town Hall will be open every day for those wishing to pick up or buy tickets.
