AT THE recent meeting of the Brechin Probus Club chairman, Hector Masterton, welcomed members to the meeting and introduced the speaker, Murray McEwan, from the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Murray outlined the structure of the service in Fife, Forth Valley and Tayside which covers an area of approximately 4,500 square miles.
The talk provided a good insight into the Ambulance Service and there were many questions. Jim Turriff gave the vote of thanks.
The chairman reminded members that the next meeting is on Tuesday, October 30, when the talk on “Saving Scotland’s red squirrels” will be given by Keith Niel.
The chairman also reminded those present that the outing to the Angus Minstrels is on November 6.
