On Saturday, September 14, the Brechin Ramblers journeyed to Edinburgh for a walk up Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags. Their leader, Mrs A. Stewart, had arranged for Historic Scotland Rangers to accompany the group for part of the walk.
This enhanced the walk as they were very informative about how the landscape was formed and about its history.
A spokesperson for the group commented: “We were fortunate that the weather was perfect and visibility was very good, enabling us to see Berwick Law and The Bass Rock. High tea was enjoyed at the Birkhill Inn before returning to Brechin.”
