Brechin Rotary Club’s Christmas Eve Carol Service took place at St Ninian’s Square in the unseasonably mild but stormy weather.
The galeforce winds did not put Brechiners off from going and there was a good sized crowd as Pastor Jon Bergen led the celebrations and the singing.
A club spokesman said: “The Rotary Club always look forward to putting on this event. There was a great festive atmosphere, and we were delighted to see so many Brechiners there.”
He continued: “We would like to thank the Brechin Brass Band for their excellent playing. We would also like to thank the Caledonian Hotel for donating the delicious soup. Indeed, we are much indebted to all at the Caledonian Hotel, especially Graham the chef, for the efficient and cheery help they gave.”
