Craft lovers are going to have a unique shopping opportunity, as a three-day craft fair is held in Brechin.
As part fo the festivities included in the big Brechin Switch-On weekend, Joie de Vivre will host the fair between Friday, December 9 and Sunday, December 11 at the recently-refurbished Mechanics Institute.
Despite the large amount of scaffolding the Mechanics is in immaculate condition and fully-operational as a venue.
Event organisers Carol Neil and Lis Hill said: “Our mission is to bring together a wide selection of exhibitors, all of whom specialise in providing a top-class selection of hand-crafted goods, together with other exclusive products at competitive, affordable prices.
“Each stall will feature its own unique range of items so this is a chance to beat the city crowds and find one-off gifts, add a few distinctive touches to your home, invest in an unusual item of jewellery or discover a must-have accessory to complete your festive season outfit.
“If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, the Brechin Christmas Craft Market is for you.”
