Thirteen cub packs from across North and South Angus districts, including groups from Edzell and Brechin, met at Arbroath’s West Links Park on May 10 and hiked eastwards to Carnoustie’s Beach Park as part of Jamboree On The Trail.

Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together with the aim of working toward a better future through Scouting.

The cub packs, who were joined by guests from Dundee’s Coldside group, hiked along the path between Arbroath’s West Links Park and Carnoustie’s Beach Park.

During the hike, the cubs completed an observation quiz sheet and listened to an interesting talk from Wendy Murray.

Upon completion of the si- mile hike the cubs were presented with colourful commemorative JOTT 2014 badges.
