Delving back in time

This week's Down Memory Lane has been handed in by Evelyn Clark and features a group of attendees to a Cradle Roll Service held at the former Maisondieu Church in 1964.'A cradle roll is a list of children under the age of three who have been baptised or dedicated to the church. Normally, a service is held annually and any child whose name has been added to the roll since the last service is invited to attend along with parents, siblings and other family members.'If you have a picture you would like to submit to this feature, simply e-mail it us at news@brechinadvertiser.com along with some accompanying information. Alternatively, pictures can be handed in to our offices on 13 Swan Street, where a member of the editorial team will scan the image and return it.
