This week’s Down Memory Lane picture comes courtesy of our sister title - The Montrose Review. The aerial picture is of Stracathro Hospital in 1960. The picture was handed into their office by Maureen Buck, who worked at the hospital during the time the picture was taken, and now lives in America.
The main drive is much more tree-covered than today, and the buildings to its right have been demolished and replaced by the Susan Carnegie Wing, and open ground.
If you have a picture you would like to submit to this feature, email it to firstname.lastname@example.org along with some accompanying information. Alternatively, you can hand pictures in to our office at 13 Swan Street, where a member of our editorial team will scan the image and return it you.
