This week’s Down Memory Lane picture was originally taken over 100 years ago, and features a view of Swan Street, taken from the current junction at Panmure Street.
The picture was taken around 1905. On the left of the street, where the present royal Bank of Scotland is situated, is the former J.C Robertson shop which had marble pillars and huge plate-glass windows.
If you have a photograph you would like to submit to this feature, simply email it to email@example.com along with some accompanying information.
Alternatively, pictures can be handed in to our office at 13 Swan Street, Brechin, where a member of the editorial team can scan the image and return it to you.
