The Brechin firm of Petersen, Brown and McGill, founded 11 years ago, plan in June to take over 200 sq. ft. of a new Scottish Development Agency factory being built in Lindsay Street, Arbroath.

Brechin and District Community Council were asked to have a look at the area of ground behind Leicester Building Society office in St David Street which the society has offered to Angus District Council as an area for people to sit in.

The Council have declined the offer but suggest the maintenance could be undertaken as a community effort for the purpose the society thought possible while the Leicester would retain ownership.
