Red Nose Day: Staff at Brechin Leisure Centre would like to thank everybody who took part in the Red Nose Day activities.
“We are pleased to say we have so far raised around £1200, so a massive thank you to everyone concerned,” added a centre spokesperson.
New body training systems: The centre is launching the latest versions of Body Attack, Body Jam and Body Pump, on Friday, April 1, from 6 pm to 8.30 pm.
The theme of the launch this time round will be “The Wild Wild West”.
When you book your place, staff will ask you to pick your team – which will be either Cowboys or Indians, and if you wish, you can go along dressed appropriately.
“We have four options available which include five half hour sessions of Body Attack, RPM, Zumba, Ab Blast, Body Jam and Body Pump.,” explained a centre spokesperson.
Easter holiday club: The centre is running its usual holiday club during the Easter holidays for all primary school age children.
This takes place between 10 am and 12 pm, Monday to Friday for the two weeks of the holidays.
Activities includes ball sports, egg painting, games, athletics, an Easter party, wacky races, an Easter egg hunt, Ruari’s mega quiz, cake making, arts and crafts and finishing with a fancy dress party on Friday, April 15.
Bookings can now be made at reception.
Easter timetable: During the Easter holidays the Brechin High School pool will be open for public swimming sessions from 2 pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Thereafter there will be crash course duckling swimming lessons and Tops swimming sessions scheduled from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Pop along and enjoy a swim over the holidays keep fit and have fun at the same time.
New adult and junior timetable: There is a new timetable of classes starting on Monday, April 4.
