Edzell Lethnot Glenesk Guild

LAST Tuesday, Edzell Lethnot Glenesk Guild president Glenys Small welcomed everyone to the meeting before giving information about future dates.

Margaret Dayman then led the meeting with hymns, readings and prayers.

Bridget and Fergus Gillies gave an inspiring talk about Graham Meals which are held in Dundee every Saturday evening when a hot meal, fruit, tea and coffee are served.

Five churches take part in the scheme which Bridget organises each week.

All the food is donated along with donations of money.

A question and answer sessions followed the informative presentation.

Glenys Small gave the vote of thanks.

Pianist on the day was Sylvia Mealls.

Tea was served with all saying The Grace.

The next meeting will take place on Tuesday (March 5) at 2 p.m.

Speaker will be Peter Ellis, the miller at Barry Mill, near Carnoustie.

A World Day of Prayer will take place in the Cathedral at 7 p.m., on Friday (March 1).
