ANGUS Gold Forum recently met in the Damacre Centre, the get-together chaired by Jessie Rennie
On the agenda were items on affordable housing, down sizing of housing and adaption of houses, problems that effect families in later life.
A spokesman for the group said: “On local transport, we hope that bus companies will communicate regularly with the Angus Gold Forum so that a dialogue of constructive ideas can take place in the near future.
“It was also reported by an officer representing Angus District Council that the policy of computer tuition, called FIRST CLICK, would be continued in the centre.
The Angus Gold Forum tmeets on the last Thursday of every month in the Centre.
“We are there to encourage our senior citizens to raise concerns and enable voices to be heard in the planning and provision of regional and national services and help bring about improvements in the quality of life for our over fifties who will be welcome at the Damacre Centre to participate.”
