Radio North Angus, the local voluntary hospital broadcasting organisation, is to commence a service to Brechin Infirmary from September 2.
By using a mobile control desk, three announcers, namely Mrs Diane Park, Mr Michael Wood and Mr Stewart Henderson, will present patients’ record requests in day rooms in the main building between 1.30 and 3 p.m. and in the continuing care unit between 3.15 and 4.45 p.m.

Three ‘sleeping policemen’ have been installed in the grounds of Brechin High School to slow traffic. It is now 10 years since the question was first raised of traffic speeding through the grounds. The ramps were installed during the summer holidays.
