Brechin Community Council expressed its thanks to the organisers of the tourist caravan in St Ninian’s Square during the summer, and also to the ladies who staffed it on a voluntary basis. Mr William Robertson, chairman, said Brechin had done very well by it and he hoped that the new Angus Tourist Board would not forget them.
Saturday’s wild storm of wind and rain brought chaos to many parts of east and central Scotland. The Angus glens had their snow of the winter.
