Thanks to the efforts of lo call business men, volunteers and the community, Aberlemno Hall has been transformed into a comfortable meeting place for a variety of local organisation. The Rev. John C. Becke, who took over secretaryship of the hall four years ago, has explained that at that time the hall was little used, being cold and badly in need of repair. The chairman at the at time, Mr Sandy Meiklejohn, was anxious to see it used, but first a redecorations and rewiring programme had to be undertaken.
The overall cost of the venture had been in the region of £3000, Rev. Becke said in expressing thanks to all who had been involved in this worthwhile venture.
