Discussions are to take place between Mrs T. P. Douglas Murray, Lieut. Col. K. Barton and Bailie R. W. McKenzie, representing Angus education committee and members of Brechin Town Council on the possibility of preventing movement of vehicles through Brechin High School grounds.

Brechin District Branch of the Dundee Chamber of Commerce had written asking the Town Council to enact a byelaw making it an offence for any person in charge of a dog to allow it to foul the pavement while on a lead. Mr Thom, Town Clerk, said that before they could make such a byelaw they must have evidence of deliberate fouling of the pavements. He didn’t know of any local authority that had been successful in enforcing such a byelaw.
