A party of 29 senior pupils from Arbroath High School, Arbroath Academy, Carnoustie High School and Brechin High School are making a 10 day visit to Paris during the school holidays.
All the pupils are studying Higher or ‘O’ Level French. They will be staying at a Lycee in Paris and will see as many as possible of the historic monuments and tourist attractions in the French capital.

Many more people will be liable for jury service from the end of this month when new provisions of the Criminal Justice Act, 1972, come into force.
In the future, anyone between 18 and 65 will be eligible if he or she is on the register of electors and has lived in the UK for at least five years since the age of 13.
