In addition to the normal directions signs to be erect at each end of the Brechin bypass, it has been suggested that a Brechin Services sign should also be erected. Provost Buchan reported on a meeting he had had with official of Angus Roads and the County Planning departments. Two triangular pieces of ground at either end of the bypass it is hoped will be landscaped by Angus District Council. The Department of the Environment is to be asked to erect an ancient monuments directional sign to the Round Tower.
