Farm workers are to get an increase in minimum wages from September 7. The decision was taken by a majority vote at a meeting of the Scottish Agricultural Wages Board. It is proposed the minimum wage for men will be raised from 186s to 195s for an average 45 hour week and from 129s 9d to 136s for women.
