St Drostan’s residents had their annual outing last Thursday. They went by bus via Letham to see the Tay Road Bridge and then up to Carnoustie for high tea.
While there, Mr W. L. Cumming, publicity manager, noticed the bus from his home town and presented each of the old folk with a pear with the compliments of the Carnoustie Publicity and Development Association.

At a meeting of the High School Branch of the Parent-Teacher Association on Wednesday it was agreed to disband the Branch and to transfer remaining funds (which total £86) into an account to be controlled by the Rector of Brechin High School. The money will be used towards the Christmas parties for the infant and secondary classes.
