The Town Council last Monday approved tenders amounting to £58,600 for the third stage of the re-development of Montrose Street. The scheme comprises 31 houses and one double shop. The total includes £4938 for various site works. The Provost hoped that once the department’s approval for the tenders had been received the work would go ahead quickly.
