Football: Montrose Vics, 8; Harp, 6.
This was a high scoring game because of the small pitch. The Brechin Boys always have difficulty on this tight pitch, but looked to have overcome this by leading 4-2 at half-time and really it should have been more. The second half saw the Vics pumping long balls over the midfield and the Harp midfield really struggled to contain them and in the end the Vics deserved their win.

Football: Glebe Park was one of the football pitches made unplayable by Saturday’s torrential rain. The home game versus Clyde was put off in the morning when the pitch was already covered with water. A field adjoining the Park was used for a hard training session instead.
