Have your say

Cricket: The Second Eleven like their elders did not have a particularly good season. They finished third from the bottom of the Strathmore League and in the season won nine games and lost 12. Whilst this may not seem very good, there were various features during the year which showed promise.

Football: Stenhousemuir, 4; Brechin City 0.
Brechin should have done better than this at Ochilview Park on Saturday. Once again for want of a marksman - the game was lost. They played sturdily enough in midfield but nearer goal hadn’t a clue. It was not that the opposition were all that good. ‘Muir had enough chances to have piled on a heap more goals but there often was too much fancy play to get results.
