Curling: Glenesk Curlers played their points competition at Aberdeen Ice Rink. The Mills Cup was won by James Caithness. Runner-up and winner of a Royal Caledonian Curling Club District Medal won by the late Duncan G. Michie in 1925, and presented to the club by Mrs Michie, Caircross, was Angus M. Davidson.

Football: Alloa, 4; Brechin City, 2.
It was galling for City on Saturday to have the greater part of the play yet lose to Alloa by a couple of goals - after two of their own goals had been disallowed by the referee. No wonder they were aggrieved, though enough chances had come their way in the earlier part of the game for them to have had a reserve of goals!
