Football: Brechin Boys 4, West Park 2.
With only 11 players available, trialist Goerge King Played in goal and Barclay on the left wing. Barclay put the Boys in front, heading home from a corner. Kind gave away an easy equaliser. Caught in two minds whether to throw or kick the ball, but he made amends with a double save. Barclay made it 2-1 with an angular shot from the left. West Park drew level, King having no chance. Barclay headed home another corner before Thomson beat four men to score the fourth.

Football: Brechin’s Saturday off saw them fall from fifth to eighth place in the league. This Saturday, City are at home to Hamilton, one of the teams who jumped above them this past weekend.
