Football: Brechin City 1, Queen’s Park 4.
Queen’s Park showed they were the masters from the kick-off at Glebe Park on Saturday. Their strong half-back line kept feeding their eager forwards and never allowed the homesters to settle.

Hockey: Brechin 0, Ruthrieston 3.
Honeyman, Brechin’s left back, was ordered to leave the field after arguing with the umpire. This followed some rather dangerous fly hitting by the player. The home defence was stretched during the whole game, but did well to hold the visitors to a one goal lead at the interval. Two second half thunderbolts from Ruthrieston’s big inside right left the home goalie with no chance.
