Helping scouts

Scouts Scotland will be holding an active support information evening on Friday, September 7 at 7pm in St Margaret’s Church Hall, Forfar for anyone who may be interested in helping the Scouts but who can not commit to helping on a regular basis.

Active Support Units are open to anyone aged over 18 years, of all interests and backgrounds.

Getting involved in an Active Support Unit allows adults to volunteer for Scouting in a flexible way that fits round their other commitments.

There is no need to have been involved in Scouting before, all that is required is a willingness to give some of your time.

In return, Active Support members make friends and are able to join in with others, doing whatever they decide.
