Brechin High School’s reputation for musical ability was further enhanced when Erin Robbie and Erin Smith performed at last week’s Brechin Rotary Club meeting at the Caledonian Hotel. Erin Robbie, who recently passed her grade five viola exam, played enchantingly, especially with the haunting music of Highland Cathedral. Erin Smith then delivered a faultless rendition of that moving song from ‘Les Miserables’, ‘On My Own’. Erin has had leading roles in several local musicals and will be appearing in this year’s pantomime ‘Aladdin’ at the City Hall. Rotary Club president Jim Houston gave a vote of thanks to the two Erins, commenting how superbly they had performed.
