Menmuir WRI

Can visiting a mudhouse be an exciting affair? Yes, would be a confident answer from the ladies of Menmuir WRI who chose Logie Mudhouse near Montrose as their summer outing destination. There they met their host Mr. Joe Wishart who regularly opens his house to raise funds for National Trust For Scotland. Joe is very passionate about the history of the Logie Mudhouse -- a unique building, the only one of its kind remaining on the mainland of the UK, as well as local history in general. His passionate presentation kept everyone enthralled throughout the evening. And to wrap it all up a deliciuos cream tea was served that was just the icing on the cake.
